We received news from Saleen this week that they are now going to offer their 302 cubic inch V8 as a crate engine. This engine has been thoroughly tested and has recieved high praise and good marks from everyone.
The new James Bond movie is still in production and we heard that the Bond car would still be the Aston Martin DBS. We couldn’t go for months without a sneak peek of what the DBS would be doing in the movie so we decided to see what we could dig up.
Ford Europe has released their latest special edition “Black Magic” car. Staying true to its name the car is only available in black (both inside and out). The design team used the brand new Focus Coupe-Cabriolet as their inspiration.
Shelby and Ford are excited about celebrating the 40th anniversary with the production of the Shelby GT500KR that has the power to produce 540 horsepower. Ford was able to express this excitement at the New York Auto Show. Only a limited amount of these special cars were to be made – but it seems that plans have changed.
When we take those long business trips there is one thing that we never look forward to (besides the airplane food) the rental cars that are available to us. It seems that all we can choose from are the generic compact cars and the occasional SUV. What we need is a nice sports car to get behind the wheel of to put a smile on our face and prepare us for that big meeting.
