BMW Sauber has finished their investigation into the KERS accident where one of their mechanics was shocked so hard that he was thrown to the ground after only touching the car. They concluded that it was an accident in which the KERS control unit malfunctioned.

Ford has planned to display the new Ford Taurus tomorrow at the New York Auto Show. They will be displaying it in all its glory – but there will be one Taurus there that will look less than perfect. In fact it will look like it just got back from a horrible car accident. That’s because it did …sort of.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has once again performed the necessary tests on nine new CUV’s and SUV’s. We all know the drill. They perform a series of tests on the front, side, and rear impact testing of the car. Each one will try to prove its worth – but only one will be granted the title of Top Safety Pick award.

It is always sad to see a Ferrari crash and burn – but it is even worse when someone small and innocent has been involved in that accident. This badly deformed Ferrari F430 Spider crashed on the A58 highway in Holland after the driver lost control.
