A few months ago we heard rumors that Mercedes-Benz was trying to find a way to give Aston Martin engines for their new designed cars. This news is finally official and is more detailed that we orginally thought.

Mercedes was hoping to wow people with the new SLR McLaren. Unfortunately it didn’t have the ‘wow’ factor that consumers were looking for and have come to expect from a Mercedes-Benz. That and the fact that the asking price was just a little too high for what the car itself was worth.

This roof is similar to the one that can be found on the SL model. The only thing that is different from the two piece roof is that the C-pillar has been changed. Mercedes is now giving SLK owners a chance to truly enjoy the summer.

Rumor: McLaren Manager - Ron Dennis - To Be Fired

Ron Dennis is well known for directing the McLaren F1 team to many victories that include; nine drivers’ championships and seven constructors’ titles. He has been with the team since the ‘80’s and if the rumors are true he has just been fired.

The rumor went on to say that Mercedes-Benz – the engine partner and shareholder of the team – has been upset for some time with the way that Dennis handled the recent spy scandal and his inability to get them the championship. Dennis has already had to deal with him and his wife of 22 years separating.
