BMW Revamps Hydrogen 7 And Removes Gas From The Picture

When BMW first debuted the Hydrogen 7 back in 2006 we were all in awe that it was diversified enough to run on both gasoline and hydrogen. Naturally we were excited about this and knew that it was a wise move on BMW’s part. After all the V12 engine has a 30 gallon tank and the -253° Centigrade liquid hydrogen will hold up for 125 miles. The other tank was designed to hole 19.5 gallons of gasoline – which can last up to 310 miles.

Honda Reveals Details On New Hybrid Model

Honda will be revealing their new hybrid model during the 2008 Paris Motor Show. Honda’s CEO – Takeo Fukui – stated during an interview that the new model will be similar to the FCX Clarity – a hydrogen fuel cell model. It is not uncommon for many hybrid cars to run off of the lithium ion batteries (like the FCX) – but Honda is taking a different tack.
