Toyota stated this week that they will be installing solar panels in their next-generation Prius hybrids. The solar panels will be placed on the roof of the cars and will be placed on some of the more high-end versions.

Usually we are excited to see a car that has been modified. Most of the cars that we see have been given more power, better interior, and even the exterior has been tweaked enough to give it a fresher look. Toyota claims that since its debut, the Highlander Hybrid has been a good seller, since 2006 the Highlander has sold around 31,000 vehicles and helping the brand capture 67 percent of the U.S. hybrid market.
