BMW has chosen 2008 as the year of showing off their ‘green’ side at the 2008 Geneva Auto Show. One of their most expectant concepts that they will be showing off is the X5 Vision EfficientDynamics Concept. This new concept has been built with a 2.0 liter four cylinder, twin turbo diesel that can be mated to a hybrid motor.
Gaywheels.com has been around since 2005 and true to its name it is catered to auto enthusiasts and consumers who are GLBT. The site gives insight to the community of gay auto consumers through interviews with gay members of the auto industry and vehicle reviews (which are a must). The site is full of automakers that support the cause of gay people everywhere and provide them with partner benefits to their employees.
To be ‘officially’ unveiled at next month’s Detroit Auto Show, the 2008 BMW X6 will be a five-door, four-seat, coupe-like body. We suppose that’s why they call it a “coupe”, though your author was under the impression that moniker was reserved for two door cars. At any rate, we’ve got the scoop and even a video.
