General Motors Adds 2009 Models To Extended Employee Pricing Package

In order to help boost sales during this economic recession General Motors did the unthinkable. They offered customers the chance to purchase a new car for the employee pricing - a deal that started on August 20th. It is obvious that many are taking advantage of this deal and getting a car that will suit their needs.
In light of this GM has chosen to extend the deal to the end of September and now customers have the chance to purchase certain 2009 models as well. The original deal was only for the 2008 models - but now the 2009 Pontiac Vibe, Cadillac CTS, G5, and Chevy Cobalt and HHR are up for grabs.
Why the extension? Many GM dealerships stated that the employee pricing helped them to get rid of their inventory - which included many of their SUV’s and trucks. Obviously these type of cars had the biggest discount.
