2008 Chevrolet Equinox Fuel Cell Electric Sport SUV

This year Chevrolet added a Sport model of the Equinox that features lowered ride height with a 263-horsepower 3.6 liter V6 DOHC engine to the Chevrolet Equinox family, which already consist of the LS and LTZ models.

Toyota claims that since its debut, the Highlander Hybrid has been a good seller, since 2006 the Highlander has sold around 31,000 vehicles and helping the brand capture 67 percent of the U.S. hybrid market.

Formula One is changing the face of racing by implementing hybrid vehicles into the race. The FIA stated this week that starting next year racers must drive hybrid cars in order to comply with the Kinetic Energy Recovery System. Formula One stated that it will take until 2013 before all of the changes from the new system to take effect – but it will start with the 2009 season.
