2008 New York Auto Show: Suzuki Unviels Kizashi 3 Concept

Suzuki Kizashi 3 Concept

For months Suzuki has been showing us their Kizashi and Kizashi 2 concepts. We never knew exactly what plans that they had for these cars only that they sported some of the best designs that we would look forward to seeing on some of their future cars.

This week at the New York Auto Show we were finally given the answer we needed in the form of a brand new car – the Suzuki Kizashi 3. This car sports some of the most extreme features that we loved from both the Kizashi and Kizashi 2 concept cars.

The gaping maw that was found on both of the first two concepts was toned down for the production Kizashi 3 car along with drawn headlights, fog lamps, and the fascia – which was able to make the switch from the design version to a more real and life like production.

The back end of the car is not nearly as exciting as the front. Under the hood the Kizashi 3 sports a 3.6 liter V6 engine that can push out 300 horsepower and uses the infamous Suzuki AWD system.

Suzuki did say that the Kizashi 3 concept is closer to what the production car will look like when it arrives to the U.S. in 2010. If Suzuki keeps with the style and design that it has shown us in the Kizashi concepts they could well become the next great thing to come from Japan.
