2008 New York Auto Show: Ford Quietly Reveals 2009 ‘WIP’ Mustang

Ford seemed to keep things low key for most of the day at the New York Auto Show. They showed off their Transit Connect Taxi concept – which was the highlight of their show. While we were impressed with this concept we were looking for something that would attract and grab our attention.
That’s when Ford revealed the 2009 ‘Warroiors In Pink’ Mustang. They were quiet about it – but something like that doesn’t get away from us so easily. As usual only 1,000 of these limited edition Mustangs will be for sale and $500 of each that is sold will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure. This is a charitable breast cancer awareness organization.
This year the WIP Mustang has been made out of V6 Premium models and sports a brand new grille along with the usual stunning features of the pink stripes, pink hood, pink ribbon badging, and of course the pink stitching on the inside of the car.
The WIP Mustang that Ford showed off in New York was a silver coupe and had the glass roof. This roof is optional along with the ragtop and black or white paint.
