Ford To Proudly Display Crashed Taurus
Ford has planned to display the new Ford Taurus tomorrow at the New York Auto Show. They will be displaying it in all its glory – but there will be one Taurus there that will look less than perfect. In fact it will look like it just got back from a horrible car accident. That’s because it did …sort of.
Ford believes that the best way to show off the safety of a vehicle is to show consumers what will happen to it after it has been in one. They have chosen to crash test one beforehand and then to display it and show off its five star frontal and side crash test ratings that it received from the National Highway Safety Administration.
Taurus is not just going to let you look at the exterior – but will give you a chance to sit inside and see for yourself how safe and untouched you would be if you were in an accident. This is definitely one of Ford’s better ideas and will help to settle any doubts consumers would have about buying one of their cars.
