Nissan Recalls 2009 Murano And Infiniti EX35

It is rare that we never find anything wrong with a brand new model. There are usually one or more things that need to be tweaked before it heads to final production. Yet, even after production that might be a few problems here and there that some automakers never expected to run into. We usually don’t see any problems after the vehicles have been shipped – but it looks like Nissan didn’t get so lucky.
Nissan has stated that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has been in contact with them and is recalling 4,854 of the 2009 Infiniti EX35’s and 11,511 of the 2009 Nissan Muranos. Apparently the passenger airbag was not made properly.
On one hand the problem is quite an easy fix. On the other hand it will take them quite some time to fix all of the cars – which could cause them to lose money. Consumers may even find that they are not interested in the vehicles anymore and they may wonder what other problems they could find with them.
