First Ever Chocolate Ferrari F2008
There are some enthusiasts that just can’t be beat no matter you might try. We admit that we love cars and we are happy to make a model car if we are given a box with all of the parts and some good directions to go with it. It takes patience and time to make a replica of a Ferrari F2008 purely out of chocolate!
Club Pasticceri Italiani made the replica racing car for a Ferrari owners club in Naples, Italy. The confectioners began to melt the chocolate that they would need back in 2007 and built a smaller model to practice on. $23,000, 4,405 lbs of Belgian chocolate, and one year later they finally finished.
The Ferrari cake turned out to be lifelike, colorful, and more delicious looking than the real thing. Unfortunately the whole thing will be eaten this weekend as dozens of Ferrari owners will dig in and enjoy it.
