FIA Launches “Racing Against Racism” Campaign

FIA LogoThe FIA is putting a stop to racism with their new campaign which they have called “Racing Against Racism”. They decided to put together this campaign after a racist incident that was geared toward Lewis Hamilton occurred in Spain during the F1 test session.

The campaign will be ready to start during the Spanish Grand Prix and is hoped to show the local organizers for motorsport and fans everywhere that the F1 will not allow racism.

The FIA hasn’t stated exactly what they will be doing except to say that they have “opened the doors to F1’s stakeholders to sign on.” This will include teams, circuits, drivers, and motorsports associations. Seeing as how it was McLaren’s guy that was being targeted – they were one of the first to offer to help out and pledge their support.
