Bugatti Creates Hermes Veyron
We can always spot the rare beauties that have been made especially for those enthusiasts who can afford to use their money to get exactly what they want. The characteristics that define these rare supercars is that there are only a few made – sometimes 300 or less, they have been equipped with more power than the average car, and they cost a fortune. The Bugatti Veyron is a perfect example of what a rare beauty looks like.
The fact that it can reach the speed of 235 mph is somehow not enough for the automaker. They have decided that it could use some improvements and have been working hard to pack on as much luxury on the interior of the car that they can muster. They have teamed up with Hermes to create a one-of-a-kind ultra high end interior package. Hermes started out in the 1800’s making the finest leather saddles – but upgraded to planes and cars during the early 20th century. Hermes has been working with Bugatti since the 20’s giving them the best in luxury.
In appreciation of their help – Bugatti has named the new supercar the Hermes Veyron and will be showing it off for the first time during the 2008 Geneva Auto Show.
