Lamborghini Sets Up New Ice School

Lamborghini On Ice

Lamborghini is tired of all the supercar crashes that have been popping up all over the world. They understand that in order to own one of these fast paced cars we need to learn to respect and to control them. They have created a special school to help Lamborghini owners learn to drive in one of the hardest weather conditions – winter.

The 2008 European Winter Academy opened in January at the Auronzo di Cadore, Cortina d’Ampezzo, in Italy. At the school Lamborghini drivers will be taught how to take control of their vehicle while driving on the snow and ice.

15 drivers each day will be given an ‘expert tuition’ from the professional drivers before they are allowed behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Coupe, Superleggera, and Spyder on the icy roads. Some of the many things they learn is oversteering, understeering, emergency braking, laps around the icy track, and pendulum exercises.

The school will be held next at the Ghiacciodromo in Livigno, Italy, from March 7-9. It costs around 2250 euros each day and each course can teach up to 12-15 students. Those of you who want to take advantage of this school visit their site www.lamborghiniacademy.com.
