Details On Mitsubishi Prototype-S Concept
Mitsubishi’s new Prototype-S concept will be revealed at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show in March. We have only been able to get our hands on a drawing of the vehicle so far – but after examining it we have concluded that it is similar to the Sportback concept that was revealed back in 2005.
Mitsubishi was kind enough to give us some details to appease our curious minds before March. The prototype will be powered by a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder MIVEC engine – which can produce 235HP and 253 ft-lbs of torque. All of this power is routed through the Twin Clutch SST transmission. The prototype is also equipped with 4WD full time system that uses Mitsubishi’s Active Center Differential.
We are not only impressed with the design and style of the vehicle – but also the power that comes along with it. The Mitsubishi Prototype-S is a basic hatchback that does have similar qualities to the Lancer Ralliart – which in our opinion is not a bad car to model after.
