Toyota Reveals Limited Edition FJ ‘Trail Teams’ Cruiser
Toyota chose to show off their new FJ Cruiser prototype at the NAIAS press preview though not in the usual way. There was no hype, no fan fare, and no publicity waiting to take snapshots of the new car. In fact the new ‘Trail Teams’ vehicle was out of eye shot and away from the other popular vehicles in the room. Now it’s our job to make sure that you get to hear about it.
The new FJ Cruiser ‘Trail Teams’ had a white finish with black accents that featured the badge for ‘Trail Teams’. Toyota has stated that this will be a limited edition truck that will be similar to the all too familiar FJ Cruiser TRD Special Edition from last year. Around 3,200 Trail Teams will be put into production. All of the vehicles will be sporting the black on white colors along with 16” TRD wheels, rock rails, skid plates, TRD exhaust, auxillary lamps, floormats for all weather, and the optional Off Road Package that is usually offered on the everyday FJ.
There is not price for the new truck at this time – but we do know that Toyota is planning on releasing it next month. We will provide more information when it has been released.
