Ford Looks To BorgWarner To Supply International Diesel Engine

V8 Engine

It was a tough week for Ford who had to decide on who would be supplying their new International Engines for the F-series. We don’t know exactly who was in for the bid – but we do know that the lucky winner was BorgWarner. While this may be interesting news to us we all know that our main focus right now is what the International Engine is going to be like.

The 6.4 liter V8 PowerStroke diesel engine will be sporting a brand new turbo system and will have a variable turbine geometry and a two stage snail. BorgWarner has stated that the engine will help to lower the amount of emissions. BorgWarner hopes to be able to utilize theses engines in some of the lower end models in the next few years.
