BMW Shapes Up And Joins Gaywheels
Gaywheels.com has been around since 2005 and true to its name it is catered to auto enthusiasts and consumers who are GLBT. The site gives insight to the community of gay auto consumers through interviews with gay members of the auto industry and vehicle reviews (which are a must). The site is full of automakers that support the cause of gay people everywhere and provide them with partner benefits to their employees.
BMW’s Mini and Rolls-Royce division have been members of Gaywheels for some time now – but we have never seen the BMW itself make an appearance until now. After cleaning up their act at a US factory – where they were accused of ‘unfriendly’ policies – BMW has decided to make themselves an honorary member. Their membership makes the 35th marquee to join leaving only one more left.
