General Motors Recalling 313,000 Vehicles

Ouch, that’s gotta suck. General Motors annonced earlier today that it was recalling 313,000 passenger cars and crossover vehicles in an effort prevent the driver from potentially losing control  due to rear axle pinion seal that’s prone to leaking.

The Nissan Skyline is one of the more often illegally imported cars in the world, due in part by it’s huge popularity in Japan and staggering performance numbers. Unfortunately however, it just doesn’t cut the mustard when it comes to US or even European emissions and crash testing.

Just when you thought inflation had hit every market, leave it to India to build the world’s cheapest (insert anything you want here). Ratan Tata, the Henry Ford of India, is fulfilling his promise of “The People’s Car” by promising to unveil it next month at the Auto Expo in New Delhi.

As promised, the first of four models was officially cut today as Chrysler is being restructured into a leaner, and hopefully, more profitable automaker. Hot off the presses, Chevrolet today officially unveiled the new ZR1 Corvette to the masses. Powered by the much anticipated LS9 engine and boosted by a positive-displacement Roots-type supercharger - this 6.2 liter engine is expected to bust the 600 horsepower barrier wide open.
